Tennis

The Country Club of Lansing features three outdoor tennis courts where tennis enthusiasts of all ages enjoy a variety of activities under the direction of Chris Pearson, USPTA, our Tennis Professional and the General Manager/Director of Tennis for Islamorada Tennis Club in the Florida Keys.  Private lessons, clinics and competition with other local clubs are some of the activities offered to both our novice and skilled players through our popular tennis program.

Junior Ladder: Summer 2010 (Wednesdays 10:30 am-12:00pm)

The Junior Tennis Ladder provides a ranking system and practice match play for our Junior Tennis Team (typically on Wednesdays). Matches will consist of two sets with a tie-breaker played at 6-6; and a match tie-breaker in lieu of a third set. You can challenge no more than 3 positions above you. The player who does not play will forfeit the match. The winner of the match moves one spot above the losing player. If the losing player is ranked lower, he or she remains in the same spot. The ladder will be posted on the bulletin board at the tennis courts. (Free to Tennis Team Members; Cost for non-team members)
